An Alameda man died at a hospital in Tracy Saturday after crashing a race car at the Altamont Motor Sports Park in unincorporated Alameda County near Livermore, racetrack President Jeff Macey confirmed today.

A motorcycle crash on northbound Interstate Highway 880 just south of Hacienda Avenue in unincorporated Alameda County has caused delays through the area, California Highway Patrol Officer Tracy Hoover said.
